" Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that's the one that is going to help you grow." - Caroline Myss

Coming to Draper University was a bold and some what scary thing to do for me. With graduation right around the corner and lots opportunities to go in a thousand different ways, choosing a path complete different from my peers was challenging.

Before coming I had lots of conversations about the different pros and cons, like would it be worth it to miss the fall career fair or would it worth it miss some of the class for my finance degree. With new opportunities comes lots of unknown risk and the fear of missing out and you have to ask yourself " is this going to be worth it in the end?"

Attending Draper University was about the boldest thing I could do with my senior year of college but I can tell its already paying off. From the simple pow-wows I have had with mentors, teachers and other student my world has gotten 10 times bigger. I am experiencing and learning about things I would have never had accuses to while attending ASU.

Today we heard pitch decks from Korean students who had attended Draper University for a two week cultural program. I was amazed by their bravery to go and pitch in completely different language in front of about 50 people. I can't even imagine what a scary task that would be but t's also an amazing experiences for those students to learn. Just meeting those students on our first day and to see them present today with how much they have grown from this experience makes me more excited about this process, even when it seems overwhelming at times.

Cheers,

Courteney
