"You Must do the things you think you cannot do." - Eleanor Roosevelt
Today, again I was able to spend the day in San Francisco at Google's Female Founders Conference. We heard from variety speakers through out the day from topics around fundraising, social media ads and Google's efforts to increase the amount of female founders all around the world. I am still overwhelming amazed by the women who make up this summit. One of the things l loved from the conference, is that one of the speakers said " there is a special place in hell for the women, who don't help other women". I love this because we need to come together a group and support each other or nothing is ever going to change.
As women, we are strongest when we join together and support each other. No one person can make it to the top without ever getting help from someone else. This why its so important for women who are successful to pass on their knowledge and mentor the younger females.
Something else that stood out to me today was we can't be forming man hating groups because that will not help us solve the problem either. With the different generations females look at the world very different and we can't carry the past man hating. We have to more future thinking and work on solving the problem and not hashing out the past. We need both males and females to have a the best ecosystem.
Cheers,
Courteney
