Day 116: The Three P's Success and The Beach Of Course!

"Be Positive, Patient and Persistent."

Being positive, patient and persistent are three of the most important lessons I have learned over the last one hundred and sixteen days, some of them over and over again. Unfortunately things don't happen over night and it takes time to grow a business. When looking at the future of a company a founder needs to be extremely positive about what is around the corner but know that nothing is going to happen in the snap of the fingers which takes lots of patients and persistsent. If a founder can be positive, patient and persistent then thats where I believe they can find success. I have to remind myself of these three things everyday when working on Trader Jack.

The morning started of with playing an Uber driver to take lots of my friends to the airport, which was sad to see them all leave. So on the positive side now I know that if all else fails that I can always just be an Uber driver. The rest of the day was full with calls to developers and advisors. Which this is where patient comes in because at the moment I really wish there was a magical developer fairy who could just send me a the perfect software team. Finding the perfect team for a start up is hard but I am slowly starting to get the pieces of the puzzle to fit! Then this afternoon I borrowing a friends car to go to visit Half Moon Bay and enjoy the ocean. The best office ever, the beach! I have found that going to fun places to work, or putting a pump of peppermint in my morning Starbucks Run helps me to stay persistent. I am so determined to make Trader Jack work and keeping a Positive, Patient and Persistent mindset is helping me to puch the company forward.

So on that note, I hope that you also can take these three ideals and apply them to your work. Remember anything god takes time and thats okay because it give us time to grow as well!

And with that I am taking my peppermint coffee, my laptop and I am off to the beach!
