Day One of the #collegeCEO

And they are off to the races!

My last first day of school is off to a great start. My senior spring semester has started today and it just seems like it’s here way too soon. When they tell you, college goes quickly they were not kidding. So here we go to the last hurrah!

This semester my classes are mostly focused on Finance, with Financial Cases and Modeling, Security Analysis Portfolio Management and Entrepreneurial Finance. This semester will not be filled with top of the line speakers, bean bags and probably limited talk about Bitcoin. I will be back in my own apartment with no bunk bed or survival week. I feel like I have to learn how to go back to normal civilization or like I have just gotten back from time travel. Attending Draper University last semester was an experience like no other and its seems like too much to even try to explain to friends at ASU what it was like. Sometimes I forget that even happened, it just seems like a weird dream.

Despite the fact that this semester will be very different from the last, I still have the same level of excitement I did going in to Draper University. After spending a semester learning the skills and a little more self-confidence in my abilities I am ready to Grow both Trader Jack and my blog to new heights this semester. I will be continuing to work on Trader Jack and grow from all the work I started on during Draper! I will also be returning to my job at Galvanize which I am excited to dive back into the community of Phoenix!

My goals for this semester are to:

1. Enjoy and soak up the last semester I have at Arizona State University!

2. Find a plan for how to develop Trader Jack and figure out where to live after graduation!

3. Sign the first customer for Trader Jack

4. Build a bigger following for The Real Capitalist so that I can be a better resource for other female entrepreneurs.

I will be posting every Monday with updates and new exciting things going on Trader Jack! I look forward to having you along for the ride! Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me!
