Today's topic perfectly aligns with our sponsor, a marketing agency. As an entrepreneur, professional or just a person you are constantly presenting the world with your personal brand. It's critical to understand what that message you are sending.

Today we explored the idea of how to sell yourself and your ideas. How do you express the value in what you have to offer, whether it's investors, employers or peers?

The trick is you have to know you audience and what they want. We spent the morning learning how to create resumes and cover letters that will set us apart from the pack. Using direct marketing tactics we learned to create applications that best amplify our unique talents and abilities. Why does an entrepreneur need a resume anyways?

Are you ready to send a million dollars in investment to someone who is unable to articulate their value? Hell No. That's why it is so important that we spend the time to really understand our talents and translate them into direct value.

Then we spent the afternoon learning how to create websites to share the value of our startups. Creating value is all about being able to translate your unique traits to fit the needs of customer.

Being able to identify who in fact is your customer is also incredibly important because how can you design message to them without knowing who they are and their needs.

So you have to ask yourself how am I communicating with people and what value I am bring?
