"It's difficult to follow your dream. It's a tragedy not to." - Ralph Marston
I built about 100 WordPress websites today, well started at least 100. Turns out building a quality website take lots and lots of patience. Which is another skill I am learning as well, patience.
Today, we started to build out our MVP- Minimum Viable Product. My company, working with the temporary name of Trader Jacks is a SaaS model online platform for vacation rental owners to ultimately replace property managers. I am working on a website to best displace how the software would work and starting to create a sales platform.
The idea of MVP is to launch the most basic version of your idea to quickly start getting customer feedback. Due to my lack of knowledge in software programing, I decided to make a website / landing page. Which at this point is like learn a whole new language!
On Tuesday Morning with be presenting our MVP to the class and mentors to gain feedback. Translated: I have a lot to figure out between now and tuesday at 10am.
That's the thing with entrepreneurship, there is always going to be these big daunting tasks, that seem overwhelming but it's important to remember what why you started and what inspired you in the beginning.
When you are ready to throw your laptop into the pool because Word Press will not even out the font of your headline (not like I know from experience or anything), you have to take a step back. Personally, I have found a few things that help with big projects like this.
Break down the project in to smaller task, then write a to-do-list
Figure how much time you have to work on the projects and set time based goas
Take a break
Also, remember that this is fun. Creating and developing your ideas as entrepreneur of course is going to be challenging at times but its important to remember how lucky you are to be given the time and resources to pursue these dreams. Keep chasing them.
Cheers,

P.S. if anyone is good at Wordpress I would love any advice!
