Day Forty: The Survival of The Fittest

On Wednesday of next week we are being shipped off to the middle of nowhere California for Survival Week. Today, we got the first details of what the week will be like. The sales challenge we had this weekend of selling condoms will be the money we have to buy food for this survival trip. Each team of five was given 20 dollars for each person for four whole days of food supply. We also have to be able to carry in all the food for the week and be able to cook it with very basic kitchen supplies. Well looks like we are having packaged tuna from breakfast lunch and dinner next weeks unless anyone has a better idea.

We will be sleeping in tents and competing in daily activities that are kept a secret until we get there. The more and more they talk about it, the more it sounds like the hunger games come to life. Even though I was a girl scout I don't feel quite prepare enough for this trip. One thing I am really looking forward to is the chance to be outdoors and far away from a screen. I am loving the draper program but my time spent outdoors has been very limited which for a Colorado girl is very difficult because I thrive being outside. I also am excited to better connect with my teammates and enjoy trying some new things.

Besides preparing for the hunger games, today we learned about software engineering for online games from our next door neighbor Roblox Games and then learn about nanotechnology then finished the day with Web/Mobile Programming. You know just an average day of a Draper Superhero.
