Day Seventy Four to Seventy Six: The To-Do- List Just Keeps Growing!
'Either you run the day or the day will run - Jim Rohn
The past few days have been tremendously busy, with trying to get caught back up after the craziness of pitch day. The first two phases of the program are finished and now we are working through the last section. The last few days we have had lot of CAD ( computer aid design) classes, as well as coding classes. We are making up for all the classes we missed during the section two due to the work we were putting into our pitches.
As side for the CAD / Coding classes, the main focus of this section of the program is to get a company launch and start making revenue. This is my favorite part of the day, getting to work on my company Trader Jack. I have found some amazing mentors in Silicon Valley, Denver and back in Arizona who are helping me to get Trader Jack off the ground! At the moment I am working on finding the best development team and building a full board of advisors.
With such a long to-do list between my online ASU classes, the Draper classes and starting my company its important to make a plan of action! Every morning I grab a much needed cup of coffee and write out a to-do-list for the day and one for the rest of the week. This helps me to be able to "run" my day and be the most efficient with my time. There are times where things get left behind, for example I couldn't keep up with my blog the past couple of days. I have to learn thats okay, with so much on my plate I have to keep chewing through the list of to-do's but also remember I am human too and things aren't going to be perfect.
As an entrepreneur, you get to make the rules for everyday so it's important to run your own goals or the day will run you right over.
Cheers,
Courteney
