Day Eighty-Nine: Be a Weasel

Today I think I might have had the best office in the world. I volunteered for the Drape Ventures Network CEO summit at the Thomas Fogarty Winery winery. All the CEO that were invited where portfolio companies of the Draper Network, which more than half of the CEO were international.

I loved being able to talk with so many people from all over the world about their experiences in as entrepreneur. I had the tough duty of stamping booklets after each workshop, which means I got to sit in every work that the CEO. I learned about everything from design thinking, to pricing strategy,

I started to discount myself, well they have raised millions of dollars, they have revenue and they are real CEO’s. Then I had a great conversation with a lady who had started her 6th start-up. She told me

“wow, I am so impressed that you weaseled your way into this summit. I was 22 when I started my first company and I was very much like you. You are going to make an amazing founder”. It’s amazing how much a few kind words can impact someone else life.
